I am a Senior Oracle DBA and Associate Principal Engineer at Nagarro Software with over 20 years of hands-on experience administering production databases across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

I hold the Oracle ACE Associate designation — a recognition by Oracle for technical expertise, community advocacy, and contributions to the Oracle ecosystem. My day-to-day work spans performance tuning, RMAN backup strategy, multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB), AWR analysis, and database security across enterprise environments.

What I Write About

DBA Dataverse is my technical blog where I share production-tested solutions, real command outputs, and DBA-to-DBA troubleshooting guides. The focus areas include:

  • Oracle: ORA-error resolution, AWR/ASH performance analysis, RMAN backup & recovery, Multitenant CDB/PDB administration, and Oracle AI Database 26ai
  • PostgreSQL: pgvector, AI/ML integration, replication, performance tuning, and scaling strategies

I have been writing about databases since 2005. Every solution published on this blog is validated on live Oracle and PostgreSQL environments before it goes out.

I am currently associated with Nagarro Software Pvt Ltd as an Associate Principal Engineer. Over the past two decades, I have worked extensively on capacity planning, PL/SQL application development, data migrations, database modeling, SQL plan stability, statistics & histograms, and multi-terabyte production database orchestration.
